On Saturday evening, September 29th, from 5 to 8 PM, the board of trustees and staff of the Woodbury Community Library (WCL) welcomes local residents and visitors to discover and re-discover our wonderful community treasure.
The event will introduce the new Linda Tucker Memorial Collection for children, which honors Woodbury resident and educator Linda Tucker, beloved by generations of Woodbury children.
WCL boasts a surprisingly extensive collection books, audio CDs and DVDs to satisfy just about everyone. The library offers computer classes and internet navigation as well as individual help with resumes and job applications. Interlibrary loans and requests are always available.
WCL is located in Woodbury Village, adjacent to the Woodbury Elementary School, on Valley Lake Road. Our collection boasts:
- Computer services
- Fine Art books,
- Master Gardener series,
- Vermont section,
- Young-Adult collection
- Popular Bestsellers in both both Fiction and Non-fiction
- Summer Reading Program
- Pumpkin Walk
- Wreath Making Workshop
- Movie Night

- and more!
The event is free (of course donations are always appreciated) and we'll dish up lots of homemade cakes and darn good coffee. Nutritious treats and gift bags for the kids!
So come on down to the Woodbury Community Library! Tell us what you like and what you don't like. What hours would you like to see the library open? What services and features would you like us to provide?
It's your library, so let's make the most of this invaluable community resource.
