Summer Reading Program & Ice Cream Socials for Children

Summer Reading Program

MONDAYS 
  
July 11, 18, and 25 
August 1, 8, and 15 
                                       12 to 1 p.m.                Babies & Toddlers
Story hour and activities. Reading old favorites like Caps for Sale and Goodnight Moon and new books too! parents and caregivers, support and reinforce Early Literacy activities. Reading, singing, and rhyming help your babies get ready to read. We'll do that here and have healthy snacks to boot! Free books, CDs, and other great things for parents and caregivers.
2:00 to 3:00 p.m.      Grades K through 3:      
Stories, games, and crafts. Healthy snacks.

4:00 TO 5:00 P.M.        Grades 4 through 6
DCF read and feed. 

  • We'll read one book aloud start to finish and read several chapters of at least four others
  • Sandwiches and juice for hungry readers! 
 The program is free BUT registration is required.
